When I think about copper kettles, I am instantly transported back to my childhood. I remember my grandmothers beloved copper kettle which sat on the old combustion stove. The kettle was always full and hot, and her house was always filled with family and friends. In fact, I’m pretty sure that there wasn’t a single person in the neighborhood that didn’t pop in at least once a week to share a cup of tea and a chat. She believed that there wasn’t a problem in the world that couldn’t be fixed with a “hot tea and warm hug” and that most problems began because of “warm tea and hot hugs”. Of course, it wasn’t until I got older that I appreciated her wicked sense of humour!
Our copper kettle has a seperate lid, movable handle and sits on a black hob. The overall height is 3cm (not including the handle). It’s suitable for indoor and outdoor use.
