Fairy Avalee is the devoted guardian of these three cheeky tykes. It was on a warm night in early Spring that she happened upon three beautiful eggs, their iridescent shells casting rainbow halos under the milky light of the full moon. Dragon eggs are rarely seen, so completely unaware of their true nature, she gathered up her found “treasures” to take home. No sooner were they in her arms than they began to crack open and little Avalee found herself with three wide eyed baby dragons calling her mumma.

If you’ve never raised dragons, it’s fair to say that they are much like puppies, except they have wings and breath flames, both of which require the kind of care that is patient and cautious. Fairy Avalee, blessed with both these qualities, now devotes her days to raising these bubs. Between flying lessons and fire safety education, she has taught them another skill…. the ability to understand and interpret hand signals. If you look closely, Avalee is signing “I love you” in shorthand sign language, because she knows that love is the key to raising strong and fierce dragons!
