• Colour Enhanced
• Long Lasting
• Ideal for covering soil and dressing pot plants
Sheet moss is a species of carpet moss. It’s been preserved and dyed to create a dense, delightfully vibrant ground dressing for all sorts of projects. It works especially well in miniature fairy gardens, resembling a patch of emerald green grass.
One pack of sheet moss contains enough to cover approx. 400cm², which is an area approx. 22cm x 18cm.
What’s the difference between standard and wet use preserved sheet moss?
Preserved sheet moss helps to retain soil moisture and can be used both indoors and outdoors. It’s preserved moss, so it will not grow and the sheets have been colour enhanced. The moss is a natural product so the shape of your sheet moss will vary. It has been washed and cleaned to remove dust and small particles. Sheet moss is soft and easily pulled apart to suit the shape of your project.
Standard Preserved Sheet Moss works well as a pot topper. Use in flat areas. You can find our standard preserved sheet moss here.
Wet Use Preserved Sheet Moss is denser than standard preserved sheet moss. Dunk it in cold water and squeeze out the excess. Wet sheets can be moulded to line hanging baskets, contoured over hobbit-style fairy houses and other non-flat surfaces that you wish to enhance.
